When I dies all my items in my inventory disappear. My armour doesn't get deleted but all other items do.

When I die I lose all my items in my inventory. All my armour stays but every other item gets deleted. This has happened when I was killed by a phantom while it was raining, when my friend died by a trident while it was raining and from the wither effects while fighting the wither.
