Like many players, i'm getting the 429 error when joining realms. I've recently purchased a 30 day subscription and have been unable to select realms from the home page.

I have been unable to join realms after purchasing due to the 429 error. I have tried to uninstall the game and re-install it and deleting the .minecraft folder from %appdata% but this doesn't seem to have solved the issue. So far i've been unsuccessful to find a fix for this issue. pls help
