My minecraft keeps crashing when joining my friend's realm

Every since last week, minecraft keeps crashing whenever i join my friend's realm and it isnt my computer cause i got a new one for Christmas and ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling minecraft but it doesn't work. My other friend joins just fine without any problems. Please help
