Realms 429 Error

I keep trying to connect to Realms and I constantly get the error "Realms (429):".
I have tried the following: uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher; restarting my computer; restarting the launcher; switching game versions; unselecting Java auto updates; going into other single player and multiplayer worlds.
Nothing has worked.
