"Joining Realm... Building Terrain"

i am unable to load back into my friend's realm, while other people are still able to play on it. Is there something that resolves this issue as I still can't access the realm? THIS IS ON XBOX, I HAVE TRIED THE NETHER PORTAL AT CERTAIN CO-ORDINATES.
