Minecraft Realms crafting table

I was playing Minecraft Realms with my friend and we have been playing for about a day or 2. All of a sudden I couldn't craft anything with my crafting table so I asked her to craft me something and it worked. A couple minutes later I asked her to craft me something else and it wouldn't work for her either. I created the Minecraft Realms world and it was working fine up until last night (5/13/16). I tried resetting Minecraft and fully deleting the application on my computer but nothing seems to work so I think it might be a bug. Please fix it soon because we really want to play on that world.
