Realms Resource Pack Message Extremely Hard to Bypass (Especially on Lowend Devices)

One day, my friend and I were going to play this puzzle map. Please note that I play on PC and he plays on Mac). We both needed to accept a resource pack download to play on the realm. We both accepted it, and it loaded in and then it asked us to accept it again. We accept it again. Then it loads the resource pack multiple times. On mac, it takes awhile to load a resource pack, so this took my friend a while (Like 20-30 min). Then, when we switched the world out, it still required the resource pack and it did the exact same thing as it did on the puzzle map. Mojang, please fix this as this is very annoying and I can't enjoy realms with this bug. Its hard to provide screenshots for this scenario.
