Lost a shulker box and a cat

I was trying to go through my portal to my overworld base and got disconnected. When I logged back on I had lost a shulker box full of items and a recently tamed cat that I was taking home. Looked everywhere on my realm and can't find them. My other items in my inventory were unaffected.
