cant get on realms

Hi I have played mc for years but under my old name shona_sara. I cant migrate that account to mojang because  I no longer have the email address I made it with so just lately I decided to make a new account sara_shona so I could play on my friends realms.
I really love minecraft and have from when I first got onto the net in 2011.
the last 2 days realms Java 1.16.3 has been down, this isn't just my account because I asked my friends if they could access it and they couldn't.
I don't get a lot of time to relax on minecraft as I used to as I am now a care assistant in a dementia home so when I do get on I do like to play hard to forget the stress of work. 
yes I am going on, sorry but I'm trying to explain I'm no new winging kid sounding off because they cant play.
