I cannot log in to my Realm

upon attempting to log in I see this message "io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception connection timed out"

I have tried numerous solutions and nothing works.

some solutions attempted:

changing NAT type.

changing firewall settings.

attempting to close the realm (it would not close)

This has been an intermittent issue so I do not think it is a problem from my end.
