internal exception java.io.ioexception an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Whenever I try to play on my friend's realm I get kicked after a few minutes and this appears on my screen. internal exception java.io.ioexception an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. I'm on 1.16.2 and it only does this for realms.
