Realms and Custom dimensions

I am hosting a realm, and I create new things for it.via commands or adding a new dimension by editing the level.dat folder.  I successfully created a new dimension and uploaded it to realms, but when I downloaded the world to my computer, non of the region files were not there, which reset the new dimension.
