Since Nether Update Realms Has Not Worked

Whenever I log into a realm, I can only play for about 45 seconds before I get kicked out.  I can immediately rejoin, but I can only play for a few seconds at a time.  It started around the time of the nether update. I use Minecraft for work and am highly upset about its inability to function properly.
