Always get disconnected from wifi after playing realm for less than a minute

I always get disconnected from my wifi after playing on my friends realm for a minute or less. It's super annoying and occurs EVERY time I login to the realm and try to play. Yesterday it wasn't so consistent but now it happens every time. This wasn't a problem a few days ago and I don't know the cause. This doesn't occur with any other games/apps besides Minecraft while in realms. Solutions?
