Content on Realms menu does not appear instantly

When clicking on the Realms tab, all of the GUI is missing besides the "Minecraft Realms" logo on the top of the screen, which is the only thing that appears.
After about 5-10 seconds, however, everything will load in as it normally would, but sometimes content does not load in at all.
