minecraft's update 1.16.1 has deleted my realm that i was in also it was not showing any invites from the admin

the minecraft realms won't pop up with any notifications for invites to realms my friend is the admin and he keeps inviting me with the correct username and the realms page says no pending invites. this is a problem on me not getting invites and me not being able to use realms. plz check and write back asap i am frustrated.
