Block destruction

In my realm i have a set a stone walls going into a Cave and the was will occasionally just break out of nowwhere at first i thought it was a creeper up until i stood idle for awhile only to return and witness the blocks and walls ( even my chest full of loot ) break and disappear. Also sometimes things duplicate like a Banner i had.
