World reverts back to previous save

Our realm is acting up in the sense that we can be doing a few things and get some game progress in and log out after an hour, come back 10 mins later and the world goes back to when we haven't done anything for the course of us playing for that hour! Is it something to do with the update or just what cause this never happened before.
