Connection issues with friends realm

I hope that version is correct. I am not sure how to find it, but it auto updates. I am currently trying to connect with my friends realm. I get the invite and accept it. It starts to load and then I get an error that says that I failed to join realm with no other information. We have checked everything we know how to check. They currently have 5 people playing, so I know that others can connect. Please help me out
