Realms are crashing after about 5mins

my realm just crashes after 5 mins and I can't figure out why. it also takes a long time to load the realms page (50ish seconds).

 

update: while I was writing this bug report I was not able to replicate the realm crashing but instead it gave me this issue (look in the screenshots)
