Getting kicked from my realm

I created a realm a couple weeks ago and both my friend and I have been enjoying it without much issue. Yesterday I upgraded from my laptop to a better PC and today when I played Minecraft for the first time, I began getting kicked from my game for the following issues:

io.netty.handler.codec.DecirderExeption:java.util.zip.DataFormatException: incorrect header check

Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.cidecc.DecoderException: Badly Compressed packet - size of (fluctuating value) is below sercer threshhold of 256

Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.CorruptedFrameException: lengh wider then 21-bit

I have no clue what's causing this to happen. I've tried lowering my chunk distance, but that did nothing. I checked my wifi speed and it was around 40 MBPS so I know that's not an issue. My friend who was also online had no such issue as well.
