Operator commands not working in realm

I created a realm to play friends. They join my realm so that we can play together. When I first created, everyone had operator commands. A few days later, with operator still set for everyone they no longer have commands to change weather or teleport. I have tried to close and open the realm again with no luck. Set players to visitor, then member then operator with no luck. Even as owner of the realm I am unable to run operator commands. We are using android tablets and phones to play.
