Lost 5 hours worth of progress on Minecraft realm

My user name is OPTIMUScris. I have owned minecraft since 2011. I recently started a realm with some friends. There are 4 of us in total who play on my realm.

I started playing today at 11am, at around 5pm I decided to log off (my friend was still on the server). about 40 minutes later, I logged back on, and noticed we had lost hours of progress and were set back to a back up made at around 1:30 pm. There was no other back up after that.

Can you please help us recover our progress? I am also wondering why the latest back up was so old? If the back ups were failing it should have notified me so that I could have been more careful logging off. I am very unhappy and not satisfied with Realms right now.
