can’t eat or sleep

i’m playing Minecraft Pocket Edition on IOS. in a Realm with my friends, i’m unable to eat anything while my food level keeps going down. i’m also unable to sleep. it allows me to get into a bed but doesn’t allow me to fall asleep.
