Cake disappearing when you craft it

What I'm Expecting:
I craft the cake and it pops into my inventory to be placed. 

What's happening: 
The craft bench takes my materials then drops nothing. 

I've tested it twice to make sure it didn't fall through the floor or something. It looks like this is an ongoing issue since I've seen several tickets with this and they're all marked fixed. More than happy to give anything needed to test. 

The second time I tried it, my realm crashed and reverted to a backup.
