Realm Bug Connection Errors

When I was flying in the End dimension with my Elytra (on my friend's realm) my game suddenly stopped working. Didn't crash, but each time I log in I'm stuck in the same spot in the void in the end, and am unable to eat, use firework rockets. I also keep falling (well below y=0) without ever taking damage. My friend has the exact same problem.
