user "magically" removed from Realm invites

What: A player by name of f00tballitis is repeatedly, "magically", getting removed from invitee list on my realms.
When:  So far this has happened twice in the span of 2 days.
Workaround:  I have to re-invite them every time.

thanks for any info on this. Annoying.
