Keyboard issue

If I open the chat tab and type anything the keyboard doesn't go away and I covers like 50 percent of my screen and what ever I do it's still there the only way to fix it is to exit the game and relaunch it so I lose my progress not all and I play on Minecraft pocket edition 

Please fix it
