Can't interact with blocks (on Kindle Fire)

Can't interact with any blocks in the Realms environment i.e. can neither create not destroy any block. This only affects one profile running on a Kindle Fire - ok for other users and for this profile on local worlds.

Things I have attempted:

• reinstalled Minecraft;
• Created new profile;
• all user left Realm and rejoined.
