Minecraft iOS crashing upon loading Realm

Whenever any of the 4 realm members load the Minecraft Realm on their phone they get 1-5 seconds of playtime before the world crashes.

We have painstakingly killed almost all of our animals to see if they were causing the issue but they don't appear to be.

The realm loads fine on xbox one.
