MCPE closes after realms loads

As soon as the realms loads, the app shuts closes.

I have tried:
turning off all video options, including fancy graphics, beautiful skies, decreased render distance to 6 chunks and limit world size. I have cleared the cache, I have erased all content and settings, then reloaded only XBOX Live app and MCPE app.

I have 2 other ipad mini 2's model ME856LL/A and an ipad air 2 which load and play in the realms just fine.

It is exactly the same with every attempt, locating servery, syncing, building terrain, then it says done, then the app closes. It used to work prior to the 16.0 update.

Update:
If I use a different Xbox login, the iPad will load and play the realms, so it appears to be an issue with a specific Xbox Account.
