Realm randomly crashes and some build/progress in the realms gets runned back in time.

I was playing on my friends realm and all of a sudden it randomly crashes. I try to get online but when i try to connect it says "unable to join world". I wait about 2 minutes and i join again but some of my builds have been destroyed. I know a few people who also suffered this issue aswell with xp farms and it is very annoying. NOTE: This is on any device. I just put the moto x because it was the first one i saw. Thank you.
