Spawning under the world where I can suffocate

I dunno but when I join a realm with my friend, there a chance where I spawn in a hole to where it hasn't loaded yet and there is no way I can escape. Not even nearby caves or digging out can help me. If I save or quit I still stay dead until I come back on. I lost about 47 diamonds, lots of ores, fortune 3 efficiency 3 unbreaking 3, armor, a good trident, food, etc. I've had enough of this, I love minecraft but seriously losing that many diamonds isn't worth it
