Realms bug

Venturing out looking for caves, till we reach a point where land does not even generate
This is not at the boundaries but rather only 2000 blocks away.
It fails to generate so i tried to exit the realm and reload into it only to have it not loading back in.
It says building terrain but it just stays on the screen forever... A friend is also having this problem.
I tried restarting minecraft multiple times and even disconnecting power from the xbox or switching games and it still just doesnt work.
Any help??
This never happened on normal worlds only started happening on realms.
