Minecraft Realm connecting to wrong world

While playing on my friend's Realm, I am getting disconnected, saying "Kicked by operator", and then when either of us try to reconnect, we get put in other worlds, some just being blank and others being minigames. We're not sure if these are other people's realms or not, but it is not ours.
