Loading screen stuck on "Building Terrain" when trying to join server

I logged out of my Realm while in an End City. When I logged back, I could here the End SFX, but the screen stopped on "Building Terrain."

 

I downloaded the world to try to log in from single player and it just stopped on "Generating World."
