pistons stay activated without a power source

what should of happened: piston should of pulled back

what happened: after removing the power source it still was activated

steps to reproduce

step1: place a sticky piston facing down 3 blocks off the ground

step2: place a stone block on top of the piston with a daylight sensor on day mode on top 

step3: place a stone block next to piston with a redstone torch on top

step4: place a stone block on the bottom on the piston (on the sticky side)

step5: place redstone torch 2 blocks away from the piston on the ground

step6: place a repeater facing into the stone block on the ground

step7: break the daylight sensor them break the redstone torch on the stone block

it should stay extended out
