Cancelling world upload renders Realm unusable

Whenever I cancel the world upload to a Bedrock Realm, the Realm "locks down" for an unknown amount of time - I can't join the Realm, I can't upload worlds to it, among other issues. It would immediately throw an error like "Failed to join the Realm" when attempting to join it, or just "Failed" without any further info when the upload process during a world replacement starts.
