Da book bug

Whenever I go into my Minecraft realm and try to write a book and sign it, it stays as a book and quill and acts like it still is. After I sign it again it's normal. This only happens on my realm. It doesn't matter if I reset my realm, it still happens. Please fix this, it's getting annoying.
