Iron golems spawning outside village center and on slabs and stairs

Issue: Iron Golems spawning on slabs and stairs and spawning outside the village center.
 
This is a known and fixed issue for Java edition.
However this is not fixed for bedrock edition.
 
I have a iron golem farm and the farm is a 16x16x8 block volume. I have iron golems spawning outside the village center but on slabs and stairs. So here there are the two issues: 
 
Spawning on non-opaque & non-cube blocks
Spawning 1-5 blocks outside village center.
 
I have not come across them spawning in air blocks, but this very well could be happening .
 
My personal fix: making outside blocks non spawnable.
 
Recreation:
1. Have a iron golem farm that’s 16x16
2. Have outside blocks as slabs (bottom)
3. Wait and see them spawn outside. (hopefully you can adjust tick speed)
