Unable to connect to realm

My friend tried to log into my realm. After a while waiting for it to load a message appear saying: Unable to connect to realm. Failed attempting to join realm. Please try again later. Its been a few hour and neither of us can connect to the game. My subscription is allright. I tried loading a backup to replace my realm but a message saying: replacing the world with the selected back-up failed.
