Mobs Still spawn on switch to peaceful + game crash when selecting settings

I generally play survival on peaceful. Occasionally i will change the difficulty to easy or normal for a while. Everything works fine up to this point. however  when i switch BACK to peaceful, i still have mobs spawning despite the fact my game is set to peaceful. they do not stop spawning as they are supposed to. i have to load a back up of the realm to get it to go back into actual peaceful mode with no mobs. 

 

On top of that, i have to go to the menu screen to even change my settings. if i try to access my settings mid game, it freezes and crashes the whole game  returning me to my xbox dashboard.
