I have hunger in peaceful.

In my 10 player realm, when I am near a mushroom island in peaceful, I still lose hunger. It started in a trial chamber at 327 -32 809 in the seed 3903589. When I press the eat button, my hunger goes back to full, but in a second, the food item disappears.
