Bundles and Villager rebalances option not effective

I created a new world in my realms list to play the new version with my friends, I noticed the new experimentation section of the world creation tab and being excited to try the new villager rebalances for some time we agreed to toggle it on. We came to realise that the bundles nor villager rebalances were in effect even though we had toggled on in world creation. I went out of my way to check that I had turned them on, created a world with both options and neither had bundles or the new reworks for villagers active. I'm considering this a bug unless there is a command I must use when in-game to toggle these on but that just wouldn't make sense.

I am playing on PC Java edition vanilla booting from the MC launcher, my friends are all on Java PC also. I hope this can be fixed soon because we wanna try the new bundles and villager trading mechanics on realms and are confused as to why there is the option to turn them on but nothing changes when in the game, Thanks.
