Can't opt in to realms stories

After the update I tried to opt in to realm stories and there was no button to let me opt in and I never got a pop up to opt in

      Steps to reproduce

1. Go to realm
2. Join the realm
3. Open pause menu
4. No opt in button

If your wondering I have tried this on Minecraft preview and same issue.

Even have tried on a laptop

Seems like a cool feature but cant even use it

 

 

 

EDIT: there is a temp fix! you must reinstall Minecraft to get the pop up. after I reinstalled Minecraft on my Xbox it made it work. but this is still an issue
