"Download latest" in realms not working as intended

When downloading latest in the realms menu, the downloaded world does not carry the data that you accumulated, only the default world seed. Structures and items acquired by the player do not carry on, only the world seed itself. How do I get it to download my items aswell?

 

For example: I press on "World Backups" then "Download latest", the downloaded world doesn't have the items I have in the realm
