Failed attempting to join realm since latest update

Cannot access my realms since latest update, have both ps4 and bedrock on pc, neither work. I keep getting a message "failed attempting to join realm, please try again later". Have tried restarting the game/console/pc and uninstalling and then reinstalling the game and am still having the same problem.
