Villagers are not breeding

Villagers are not breeding and will not pick up food. Mob griefing is turned on and I don't know if mob griefing affects villager breeding. I had given them every type of possible food that they need and they will not pick it up. I had also given them adequate beds for any potential new villagers and I also slept to make sure they go through any cycles needed.
