Minecraft Realms not connecting

I have Minecraft downloaded on my phone. We started paying for realms on my sons phone and I was able to join his realm once when we first created it yesterday. Now when I try to join it says it’s loading resources and everything then suddenly kicks me completely off Minecraft and back to the main screen on my phone. There are no error messages or anything. Just kicks me straight off. Then I have to go back through my phone and click on the app just to get the the opening screen of Minecraft and it does it again and again and again. I’ve restarted my phone, logged out of Minecraft and logged back in, reset my wifi, you name it I’ve tried it and nothing is fixing the issue. Everyone else can join him in the house but me. I am also able to play my regular worlds just fine, I only get kicked off Minecraft when I try to enter his realm.
