Global resources not working on realms after texture pack has been applied to the realm.

So my friend made a new realm on bedrock mobile and I use some global resources and they worked but then he applied a pack to the realm and my global resources just don’t work, I tried deleting and re-downloading and refreshing the packs but nothing worked any ideas as to why?
